How we became "3 Women"
(The oven part was easy)

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, we hope you have enjoyed reading about all the wonderful desserts we love to make. It’s okay to drool, no one can see you.

People are always asking us how we got started. Honestly it is easier for us to talk about our cakes and tarts than about ourselves. But you keep asking! Well, there is a story but before we start why don’t you sit back, have a slice of one of our delicious desserts with a great cup of coffee or a glass of milk and enjoy the read.

    …and start baking!

    Begin in April 2002…
The first woman (Trish) a self-taught baker/creator started baking for her children and a few fortunate friends. Word got around (you know how that goes!). Soon she had even more friends! Trish and her cakes were a constant request for girlfriend’s birthday celebrations at local restaurants. The restaurant owners wanted more than just a taste. She agreed to create desserts that worked with their menus. Soon Trish was baking day and night.

When the batter got too thick, Trish decided to add the second woman (Jayne). Jayne had just left an executive position to spend more time with her family. Trish knew that Jayne loved to bake but she loved the business of baking even more. The word spread that there were people who still “crack their own eggs” and make baked-from-scratch desserts. The demand was overwhelming!

With too many orders and not enough ovens a third ingredient was required to finish the recipe successfully. While working outside the home, Jayne met woman number three (Stacey). Now Stacey, a successful professional chef, who wanted to expand her personal chef business, was looking for a partner. Little did Trish and Jayne know that Stacey’s passion was pastry! A meeting was planned and it soon became apparent that each woman had something unique to bring to the mix and the recipe was complete.

    Two years later…
Blending in the continued support of many happy restaurants, corporations and retail customers, a network of friends and advisors we are ready to open the first retail bakery for 3 WOMEN AND AN OVEN (did we mention we now have multiple ovens?).

    Now comes the exciting part
    (drum roll, please)…

Soon you can stop by, re-live the old world memory and savor the aroma of fresh-baked desserts made daily. Watch this space for the next layer of our story!
